So. About yesterday. It was surreal. It was all the feelings. It was my last day working for someone else. And so much more, so bear with me and read to the end, please. That bowl sat on my desk at the job I poured into, heart and soul, for nearly the last five years. It was a tremendous time in my life when God stretched me, challenged me, blessed me, and revealed to me so much of himself and his plans for my family and me. Plans to grow @yellowsparkstudio and make it my primary job (insert happy dance...and huge gigantic leap of faith here). Plans for my husband @the_natethegreat and me to go deeper than just leading marriage retreats focused on strong marriages, but to offer more (more on that another day). Plans for us to leave the safety net and extended family of private Christian school and navigate public school. Plans...so many plans and all in His time.
This has all been building over the past several months. I just now get to share it, and it's exciting! Yesterday ended with a beautiful surprise going away party for me that I still have no words for - it meant so much and I just want to savor that memory. It could not have been more perfect of a transition from one chapter to the next than the card above that was given to me by a dear colleague. The card, it's a @yellowsparkstudio note card. I was handed a piece of my future with words of love and encouragement written all over it as I departed. Oh! And that mug....well let's just say it's a sneak peek at what's to come!
